Call your friends, get in the car,
drive to the limits and burn this city.
This is where it all ends, get in the car,
drive to the limits and burn this city.
And you can't help wondering if everybody's following,
the trail of smoke, but nobody can see it.
And you can't help thinking what everybody's thinking about you.
Last night, before the sunrise you cried,
How you won't grow old and you'll never die.
This city don't believe in your lies.
This city don't believe in your lies.
So call your friends, get in the car,
drive to the limits and burn this city.
This is where it all ends, get in the car,
Talk like you know all about the truth.
I don;t want to take over the world, but I
see the traps and the viles are waiting outside,
and the shannon black waves that I know.
The days the past the future divides us.
The future divides us, the future divides,.

Last night, before the sunrise you cried,
How you won't grow old and you'll never die.
This city don't believe in your lies.
This city don't believe in your lies.
This is where it all ends, get in the car,
drive to the limits and burn this city.
Call your friends, get in the car,
talk like you know all about the truth.

Better late to the party than never. How did I miss this band? It's a great blend of The Cure during their 'a forest' period and alternative rock. The first track Grandview plunges you into an ocean of psychodelic guitars and rythmic drums and like a siren lures you into the depths. A very accomplished album and although I wouldn't categorize it as Gothic it captures the early spirit of that dusty genre better than most contemporary bands nowadays. stargazing robot
In the sweet spot of '80s college radio/goth nostalgia, this LA group has big pop hooks, chiming guitars and a wry, dark sense of humor. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 10, 2016
